LIFT funded project on 'An Integrated Rural Economic and Social Development Programme for Livelihoods Improvement in the Dry Zone of Myanmar' was showcased in the event of Aid and International Development Forum - Asia Summit, 14-15 June 2017, in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar. The presentation has been delivered by the head of CAPSA in panel discussion session with topic of Innovation and Programme for Improving Rural Livelihoods. The two-day forum focused on exchange innovative and sustainable solutions for improving aid delivery and development strategy in Southeast Asia. It brought together of about 200 senior decision maker delegations from regional governments, UN agencies, International and regional NGOs, investors, donors, businesses and the private sector. The forum offered unparalleled opportunities for cross-sector collaboration and debate to bring escalating issues of disaster resilience, food security, access to healthcare, and use of mobile technologies, among others, to the forefront of regional agenda.
