Our Library Services

The library collects information on socioeconomic and policy aspects of agriculture in the Asia and the Pacific region. The library collects different kinds of materials including reports, research studies, proceedings, statistics, bibliographies, external publications and others. It also has a fine collection of scientific journals. Materials are acquired from a variety of sources ranging from gifts and exchanges to materials purchased from well known publishers. The operation of the library

The library opens for the public from Monday to Friday (09.00-3.30) and it offers a photocopy service, an online catalogue, and exchange programme.

Publications and dissemination

The Centre publishes monographs, working papers, and Palawija (a newsletter published three times a year). These are distributed to research institutions, libraries, universities and individuals worldwide in hard copy and by electronic distribution.

Email services

The library provides a regular compendium of newly published scientific articles (abstract and citation) and CAPSA E-Flash monthly email bulletin (updates, news and upcoming events) related to sustainable agriculture, markets, poverty reduction and food security in the Asia and Pacific Region, through subscription to a mailing list.
