Abstract/Description

The general objective of the study is to explore various implications of socio-economic problems of selected food legumes and coarse grains in selected participating countries. Specifically there was a study on the potential of these crops for improving human nutrition and an assessment of their demand for industrial and feed use. There was an identification of constraints to expand production,consumption and marketing of these commodities.
